It's pretty straightforward, you'll usually meet with two managers. They mainly want to get to know you first before diving into the interview questions. Typically, it's the VP of the department who you'll meet, followed by the manager.

It was a very unprofessional hiring experience. I had interviews with two managers and a district manager. They told me I would get an offer letter, but I never did. When I followed up, they said the senior position I applied for was no longer available, and they could only hire me for a less senior role with lower pay. Can you believe that? They seem to be really short-staffed over there.

I applied online via LinkedIn. The next week, I had a quick phone interview. The following week, I went in for an in-person interview with the department head. After that, I met with the recruiter to get feedback. Two weeks later, I got a call and an email saying I didn't get the offer, which I really appreciated since they didn't have to do that. This was the best interview experience I've had this year. Everyone was really nice, professional, and courteous, which says a lot about Banc of California. I'd definitely recommend applying here.

The interview process involved questions about my previous work history and if I had any financial industry experience. Then, a department manager interviewed me, mentioning they prefer coachable individuals. They also explained the department's functions. Although I was told the interview might be brief, it actually lasted for about an hour and a half.
