It was pretty straightforward. They asked about my past experiences and why I want to represent their company. There were some questions about what I'd do in certain situations and I had to elaborate on that. They also mentioned a minimum word count for answers.

Presentation

It was pretty straightforward. I had to assemble an outfit for a customer based on some guidelines. This served as the performance part of the interview, essentially testing my ability to create a complete outfit in-store that would maximize the order value. It's not too difficult if you think about adding items like socks, sunglasses, hats, and scarves. The main goal is to see if I can put together a cohesive outfit that's appealing and results in a high-value sale.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you create an outfit for me for fall?

After setting up the interview over the phone, the rest of the process was really smooth and relaxed, keeping social distancing rules. The people there were super nice and easy to talk to. They seemed to understand and wanted to see on a more personal level if I'd be a good fit for the brand. Basically, just show you've got retail skills and a friendly personality, and you'll fit right in!
