it was professionally conducted and i got to ask a lot of questions about the company and its workforce. i liked the interviewer's style of questioning as it was more conversational than a traditional interview style

I reached out to the Hiring Manager after reading his post for an opening in the team. He was super nice and asked me to share the resume and forwarded to the recruiter to get started with the official process. A recruiter reached out to me and set up a phone screen. She did ask me general questions like tell me about yourself? What are the projects you worked on? Where are you currently working? Why Banana Republic? During the compensation, she mentioned we can't offer more than $85k since it's an entry-level job. The job description needs at least 3+ years of experience and she mentioned as an entry-level? Also, at some point, while I was describing my answer, she was going blah. As an interviewee, it didn't sound welcoming and when we discussed compensation she sounded little rude & arrogant and kept the phone hard. Overall, negative experience at the recruitment phase.

The interview process started with a group setting, and then moved to individual interviews with the department if you passed the first stage. It was a fast process, and I got hired within a week. Both interviews were easy and low stress.
