First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baltimore Orioles.
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was a bit slow from start to finish, with no option to retake any of the 5 questions asked during the one-way Zoom interview. I didn't receive any feedback on my answers, but overall it was a neutral experience and I would consider interviewing again.
- What motivates you to pursue a career in sales?
Guest Service and Ballpark Operations Intern
The interview process involved two rounds with different teams. The first round was focused on getting to know me, and the second round included more situational questions. The interviewers were very easy-going and nice, making me feel comfortable even though I was nervous.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
IT Technician
I had a virtual interview where they talked about the job and got to know me. Then, I had two in-person interviews. The first one, I met the lead and another department lead and they showed me around. The second in-person one, I met the lead again and the site manager, and they gave me a complete tour. After all that, I didn't hear back, and my follow-ups were ignored.
- Do you know Aruba Networks?
Event Staff
It was a 3 day process. Cons: Driving into the city, navigating to the correct parking lot (a map would be helpful), paying tolls. Standing on gravel for 6 hours is painful if you have joint/spine issues. Weather changes your schedule. Inconsistent schedule. You may have to work overtime if its a long game or goes into extra innings. Pros: Love the Orioles. Only a few blocks away from my 2nd job. Staff gets Orioles swag which is great if you're a collector. Discount on game tickets for you and your friends or fam.
- Do you work well in a team?
