Membership Representative
It's a pretty simple process. No prior experience is necessary, you just need to be 18 and open to working any shift they offer. You'll interview with the general manager, and they usually get back to you pretty fast if you're a good fit. If you can hold a conversation with another adult, you should be alright. If not, well, getting this job might be the least of your worries. Preparing for some common sales questions, like how to deal with objections and doing the pen test, will set you up for success. Just show up with energy and a desire to learn.
- Sell me this pen.
Personal Trainer
Got the lead on this through a friend who was already working as a personal trainer there. The interview itself was pretty straightforward. It was basically a chat where they asked about my background and how it would fit the role of a trainer. Then they hit me with some scenario-based questions to see how I'd approach training various clients with specific fitness goals. It felt like they were more focused on getting a feel for my personality, which makes sense since personal training relies so much on building good relationships and people skills.
- What motivates your desire to become a personal trainer?
Fitness Coach
They chatted about sales skills and hitting targets. Also asked about personal background, what you've accomplished, and what makes you special. You'll do a task where you have to get names and numbers from gym members, which is super important for getting the job.
- What will distinguish you from the other candidates?
- Can you achieve more than a monthly goal?

Sales Manager
Corporate interview with testing, then met with club GMs, then met with area directors, met with corporate HR, did aptitude testing, had a long talk with the head of the corporate sales division, and was introduced to the monthly paperwork required from all sales reps.
- What are your revenue projections for the sales team in the coming year?
