First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ballad Health.
Conference Center Coordinator
The interviewer was nice and upfront, and they were open to talking through situations and answering anything I asked. I met some people who could be my future teammates and got a walk-through of the place. They let me know when I could expect to hear back about an offer or if I didn't get it, which is way better than just being left in the dark. It felt like a good use of my time going through this.
- Why are you interested in this particular position?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was mostly web-based due to covid. It was a typical interview process, nothing particularly out of the ordinary. I've had several interviews at Ballad, and generally, they've been good experiences.
- Can you describe your experience with analytics?
- How would you describe your experience using Excel?
Printer
I showed up to a locked building and thankfully an employee let me in. The interviewer was running late and needed to be reminded about our interview. We had a good conversation though and I was really excited about the job. They said I'd hear back within a week, win or lose. I didn't hear anything for over a month, and couldn't reach them since it was set up by a recruiter and their shop didn't have a public number. Finally, I got an email saying someone else got the job.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a conflict with someone and describe how you handled it?
Nurse Practitioner
I applied online and then got a call a few weeks later for an interview. The interview went really well because the medical director is fantastic. After they decided they wanted to offer me the job, I signed a letter of intent and they began the credentialing process, which took a really long time.
- Can you describe your previous experience?
- What motivates your interest in this specific field?
- What is your availability like?
