BAE Systems USA Manager interviews, decoded.

It was a WebEx interview, and I had to make sure the view was working. The interview was with the hiring manager, a peer manager, and the current manager of the team. I was asked questions about behavior, customer service, and people management.

I had an initial phone chat where we discussed salary. Then a couple weeks later, I went in for a face-to-face interview. It was a 4-hour block where I met with 5 different people. They contacted me after the onsite with an offer that was 15% lower than I asked for, so I turned it down. About 6 weeks after that, they reached out again with an offer much closer to what I wanted, and I accepted.

So I had multiple interviews for this role. It was a pretty standard process, starting with a recruiter call and then moving on to a more in-depth onsite interview that included both technical and behavioral components.
