It was a super thorough and engaging process, honestly the best interview experience I've ever had. My direct leader would have been the COO, and her attentiveness in managing the process, keeping me informed and engaged, and how seriously she took the decision-making (even when delivering bad news) only made me want to join the organization more. An exceptional experience overall.
So first there was a quick phone screen. Then I had to do a written exercise. Finally, I had a panel interview with four people, where each person had 30 minutes and asked about 5 to 10 questions about my experience and how I'd handle different situations.
This company really values candidates' time, which is great because all the final interviews were on the same day. Everyone I talked to was super nice, and the interview felt really chill and conversational, even though they had a set list of questions. What was cool was that unlike other places that just rush through questions, they actually engaged with my answers. The only tough part was how intense it was to do interviews back-to-back like that, with each person asking five questions.
