Applied through LinkedIn and got an email about a week later for an interview. When it started, the Backbone employee said she was leaving and a second person would join, which was unexpected. It was fine though. I spent 30 minutes answering questions but didn't get any info on the timeline or what's next. I got a thank you email the next business day and another follow-up a week later. After that, it was total silence. I don't even know if my emails went to someone still there, and the job listing is gone. Super disorganized and unprofessional. ),
So the interview was on zoom with one person and it felt pretty easy. I was told I'd hear back within a week if I got to the next step. It's been almost a month now, and I haven't heard anything, and they've totally ghosted me. I even emailed them for an update, but no response. It's a bit of a bummer because I thought it could be a good place to work, but not hearing back or getting an email response is a red flag for me.
I applied online and had an intro call with HR and the Hiring Manager. Then, there was a team call with a peer and the manager. They gave me a verbal offer and then a written offer. It was a really great interview process, everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional.
