I thought the interview process was really good. I went through 3 steps: a talk with HR, an interview with the local team in person and the Amsterdam team online, and then a case study presentation. In every step, I received a lot of help from the recruiter and interviewers, which was quite new to me. It felt like I was already working as a member of Backbase even before joining the company.
The interview process was really thorough and happened fast, all done in 3 weeks. I had to do a case study, which involved spending a full week learning about Backbase before I could get the presentation ready.
I saw the opening at Backbase on LinkedIn and applied, it was straightforward. Within a week, HR reached out for the initial interview. Following that, I had two more interviews with my future colleagues. The final stage involved a role-play presentation with directors and peers, which was challenging as it required preparing a case over the course of a week. The entire process, from initial contact to receiving an offer, took about three weeks. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.
