Candidate-reported interview process

After my CV was reviewed, I had a video chat with the recruiter which was really great - super chill, friendly, and to the point. Then I had a video meeting with the Technical Director, which was also friendly but more focused on what the job actually entails. Next, I was given a home assignment where I had to prepare a presentation. This was followed by a video presentation to the Tech Director and another Engineering Manager. Finally, I had a video interview with the Teach leads.

The interview process starts with a recruiter chat, then a talk with the hiring manager. After that, there's a case study presentation to a group, and the hiring manager gives feedback. It's a bit involved, but it's a good way to meet a lot of people at Backbase. This might change for other roles.

The recruiter was great, knowledgeable, and kept me in the loop about everything happening and the expected timelines. They made sure I knew what to expect at each step. Scheduling was also really easy and they worked with me on times.
