Candidate-reported interview process

It was an easy, two-step process. First with HR, then with the hiring manager. Each meeting was about 30 minutes long and done over Zoom. The questions were general, and I gave the same answers throughout. It felt like a standard IT interview for a SaaS company.

I was contacted by HR who set up an interview. During the call, she went over the job details and asked about my background. It was a basic screening. After determining I was a potential fit, she scheduled the next interview. I then spoke with the sales team manager. He asked about my previous and current roles and explained the job, asking if I could meet sales targets.

I had 4 interviews, first with HR, then a manager, then a VP, and finally a VP and the CTO. It was all questions about project management, no behavioral or situational stuff, just process. It felt unprofessional to not get any follow-up after 4 interviews, whether I got the offer or if it went to someone else. For 1-2 interviews, I'd expect no news, but after 4, it's just really unprofessional.
