B-Stock Solutions Interview Questions

It was a design challenge focused on redesigning a feature for another company. I had two options: either add a Yelp foodie feature or figure out how to grow Instacart's customer base. It involved more brainstorming and idea development than actual prototyping. I was given 72 hours to complete the challenge, which was a great experience that I'll probably add to my portfolio. The only downside was being notified late at night, which essentially cost me about 8 hours of sleep.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It was conducted online, and I had to answer some basic interview questions that I recorded and sent in myself. After submitting my recorded interview, about 4-5 business days later, I got an email for an online assessment. This assessment was more about my competencies, like checking for errors in addresses and matching SKU numbers with states.

So I had this pre-recorded thing first, then a quick 15-minute chat with the recruiter. They were super nice, shared a lot of info, and seemed to get it. We talked about company values and how my past and current experience fits. But, there were some big concerns: the pay is $19.23/hour, which is kinda low, and the performance bonus is "up to" $4,000 yearly, so it's not guaranteed. They're also still figuring things out and don't keep employees well, mentioning they're hiring again, which makes me question job security. Plus, the whole thing took ages from when I first heard from them, and their replies were slow, which felt like they didn't really care about my time or how keen I was.
