Candidate-reported interview process

The interview had two phases. A first phase with management and another person from the department for which the vacancy was offered. A second with other members of the team whose objective was to see what feeling and impression was given and eventually, a third phase.

An HR person reached out after the job opening and set up a meeting with the team. The team was super nice, and HR was always available to answer questions or help with follow-ups. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview, which was pretty comfortable. However, the whole thing took forever, over 2 months, with another meeting in between, making it a bit drawn out and tiring, even though they kept me in the loop.

Had 2 interview meetings. First was with a group including the CD, EP, and HR. Second was again with the EP. It felt casual and conversational, and I felt comfortable right away. It was also easy since a friend at the company recommended me.
