It was a pretty typical 3-step interview. First up was HR to see if I generally fit the job description and to talk about the company vibe and what they expect. Then I talked to the hiring manager, which was more about personality and fit, but it was good for learning about the company and team goals. The last step was a 2-person panel that really dug into technical skills and how I manage.
It was a standard interview for an Engineering role in consulting. First, we did a resume walkdown, and then there were technical questions. The technical questions were designed to gauge my understanding of technical subjects in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech fields.
It was a two part interview process: a phone call and then an in-person interview. It took around 4-6 weeks to complete the process, but it was worth it. The phone interview included a chat with HR and a manager.
