You should be ready for a somewhat technical interview. When you go in, know the basics about next-gen sequencing and gene synthesis services, and also what customers would be interested in them. You should also get ready to talk about your own sales process.
It was a really good experience. They had a skills test where I got to build a module I might be working on. Then there was a long interview to make sure it was a good fit for both of us.
The interview process was smooth, and I had a good experience with both HR and the interviewer, who were nice to talk to. The interview was conducted over Zoom and started on time. They quickly scheduled and confirmed the interview times. However, HR went silent after the second interview. I sent two follow-up emails, but received no response. It would be basic courtesy to at least reply, even if the candidate isn't selected. It was a terrible experience and lacked professionalism.
