Axis Group Consultant interviews, decoded.

I had a phone screen, then a diagnostic using PowerBI. After that, there was a technical interview that lasted about 2 hours. It was with a panel, and I had to present and discuss the diagnostic. Unfortunately, I didn't make it past this stage.

Started with a phone chat to introduce ourselves and then a diagnostic. Then, an in-person technical interview and finally, another less formal in-person interview that was more about my personal experiences and interests. It was a pretty straightforward interview process overall; just don't overthink it and you'll be fine.

So, I did this assessment that took ages. Then, during the interview, they loved my assessment and coding skills, saying I had what it takes. They even admitted they didn't have much experience coming into this role, unlike me. Clearly, I was well-qualified, even more than them. Yet, no offer. So, it felt like a waste of my time, especially since the interview was 2 hours long. Honestly, don't bother. They seem to already have a specific person in mind.
