The interview itself went well and the people conducting the interview were personable. However, when it came to the approval process there were many red flags and shady questions. Even on the verge of illegal.
I got an email first. I replied that I was interested and then I had a 15 minute phone interview with a company HR rep. They set up an in-person interview for the next week based on my answers. At the in-person interview, I first checked my clearance info with the FSO and then met with the program manager and deputy program manager for about 45 minutes.
Had a good chat with the director. An assistant handled the case. Then, the hiring manager and a technical lead engineer did a phone interview. The lead engineer was being a bit much, asking stuff that needed a reference book to answer. The manager was, well, a manager in how he asked questions and acted.
