The interview was straightforward and pleasant; the HR rep was very welcoming and supportive throughout. Despite this positive experience, I wasn't selected for the role. The company mentioned they had already chosen someone before the hiring process even concluded. This doesn't detract from the interview's quality, but it explains why my application wasn't successful this time.
The hiring process at AXA usually starts with a review of your CV. After that, there's a phone or video call to check your skills and what motivates you. Depending on the job, they might ask you to do some technical or aptitude tests. Then, you'll interview with the manager and/or the team to go over your experience and skills more deeply, before they make the final decision.
It was a behavioural interview where they asked questions about my experience. I also had a phone screen, reference checks and background check. They asked about challenges in the workplace and overcoming problems. Also questions regarding my previous role and what I can bring to the role.
