I had a phone interview first and then met with two program managers. It was a good interview experience overall; the interviewers were very nice. They asked good questions and made sure to talk about burnout and my self-care strategies.
The interview process was engaging, impersonal and engaging. I felt the conversation was open and honest. They explored past history and how ones experience correlates with the role. You don't necessarily need exact experience to receive the position. As long as they know you have human service skills and your a resorbable hard worker than exceptions can be made.
It was pretty simple. First, a phone interview, then a face-to-face meeting. I met with the Career Education Director and the Coordinator. They then asked me to give a presentation to a class. I got the materials beforehand and had two weeks to get ready, mainly because of a scheduling conflict.
