I reached out to a colleague at PolyOne about a job I saw on LinkedIn. Even though the job was closed and they were interviewing others, they told me more about it and said to apply again later. Two months went by, and they contacted me for an interview. After talking with HR, the District Manager, and some senior sales folks, I got an offer before the week ended.
I attended a career fair and the next day they invited me for an interview. It wasn't too bad, and the recruiter was really nice. I would have liked the job if they offered it to me.
It was a pretty simple interview process. Since I'm an RCG and have an engineering degree, they had me do a role-play where I had to sell the interviewer a pen. Apart from that, the questions were pretty standard. The interviewers knew their stuff and could answer all my questions about the company.
