Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process went well and was on schedule. The team made an effort to make me feel comfortable. The onboarding was also a positive experience, with a good induction.

First, I had a recruiter reach out. They asked basic questions about my qualifications, resume, and how my past experience fits the job. The second interview was with another HR person and covered similar ground. Then, I had an in-person meeting with a sales engineer manager and an HR rep. They focused on scenario-based questions and my resume/experience. The final interview was with the regional manager, who seemed to be confirming earlier decisions and wanted to get to know me better.

It's a very political process, honestly. They tend to keep the candidates they personally like and get rid of the rest. It's all about who they prefer.
