First, I had a qualification call with an external recruiter to see if I was a good fit for the role and if the role was a good fit for me. Then, the company's internal recruiter gave me another screening call. After that, I had five phone interviews over two days. The final interviews were face-to-face lunches with two of the hiring managers, who also happened to be two of the people I spoke with on the phone. They made an offer pretty quickly after that. The external recruiter stayed involved the whole time. Remember to be confident, be yourself, ask questions, and listen.
The process started with HR and the hiring manager. What was different is that I also got to interview my peers, which helped me make my decision. The interviews went from HR, then hiring manager, then HR Manager, and finally a panel interview. Some interviews were conducted over the phone. The vibe and company culture felt like when HP was a top company to work for. I knew I would do well here after interviewing and getting to interview my peers.
It was pretty easy going, I had to meet with the regional manager, then the VP, and then the top sales team so I could be vetted out by each individually. This process is very typical to a sales position of this level.
