Avascent Analyst interviews, decoded.

It was a three-stage interview process. One case study was assigned 24 hours prior to the interview. The other questions were standard and predictable, such as discussing your interest in the industry and your relevant work experiences.

Rude and demeaning experience, glad it went nowhere. Partners were fine but a senior associate was a sadist. He was rude and insulting, even accusing me of dishonesty. Never had such a negative interview. Seems somewhat toxic, but I only went in for one round.

So after they screened my resume, the first interview was a case study. They sent me the case info 24 hours before, so I could get familiar with it. That first round also had a short behavioral part where I had to talk about my experiences and why I'd be a good fit for Avascent. The second and last interview was about two hours, with three interviews back-to-back with a Senior Analyst, a Manager, and HR. They might ask about the case study again, like how I analyzed it. Everyone I met was super nice and professional, and it made me even more excited about the job. After about a week and a half, they gave me the offer, which I was really happy to accept.
