First I got an email asking to do a phone interview. I had my phone interview the following week. After that, it led to an in-person interview that lasted about an hour. Then, the week after that, I got the email about whether I was accepted or denied.
I had a phone interview, then an in-person interview, and also a typing test. After that, there was a tour of the office where I shadowed a current employee and met some people.
So I actually got promoted while I was at AvantGuard, so this interview is for the mid-level position. They wanted to know how I'd test a simple login screen they drew on the whiteboard, and I made sure to include user experience in my answer. We also covered my experience with Azure, writing test cases, the pros and cons of test automation, and general QA knowledge. A good chunk of the time was also about seeing if I'd fit into the culture and just getting to know me better.
