AvalonBay Communities Concierge interviews, decoded.

I applied on May 7th, 2018 and got a call back from a manager in two days. I interviewed with them the same week. I ended up speaking with two managers, and it was pretty standard with the usual interview questions. On the same day, I also had a chat with the GM. They mentioned they'd let me know by the end of the following week, but they actually called the very next day after the interview to offer me the job! I didn't start for another two weeks due to the background and drug tests. So far, everything's been great! I really like avalon!

The interview process was very straightforward regarding what they were seeking. The interview itself was well-structured, the questions were relevant, and the interviewers were very pleasant. They paid close attention to my answers and asked for more details.

They gave me a call and then I went over to one of their buildings. After waiting around 5 minutes, I was taken to a meeting room where I had a chat with the building resident manager and the property manager. They seemed to really like me, but I guess the salary I was asking for was a bit too high, so they made an offer but didn't end up following up.
