There was an aptitude test first that I had to pass. After that, there were two rounds of interviews. The first was with the hiring team, which included a Product Manager and an Engineering Lead. If I passed that, the final round was with the VPs. The interview part was fine, but the HR process was not great and they can mislead candidates to meet their targets. They told me remote work was an option, but during the VP round, they asked if I would relocate to Pune. I said no, so they put my application on hold and it took them over three weeks to tell me they picked someone else even after I followed up.
It was an easy interview with generic product manager related questions. It included scenario based questions like how your day looks like as a PM, which product manager tools you have used, and what technology was used for development.
First up was a chat with the recruiter. Then, the hiring manager wanted to talk about my goals for this role and how my past experience fits. After that, I had a chat with the product marketing manager about company culture. Then, another VP of product management wanted to go over my prior projects and see how they align with the job description. The hiring manager was up next for the final interview. Finally, I negotiated the offer with the recruiter.
