The interview process was quite thorough and detailed. The team I met with seemed very supportive and knowledgeable, suggesting it's a great place for growth and results. It involved five rounds, with the final one being with the hiring manager. There was also a coding challenge included.
Recruiter reached out, then a quick technical screen with the hiring manager, followed by a virtual onsite with four team members. They asked technical and coding questions, but no specific platform like Hackerrank or Coderpad was used. I got a verbal offer which was over budget, so the CTO had to approve it, but that approval just never happened. They also ask for current team references, which I provided. This was embarrassing because I had to keep telling my references that the formal offer was delayed. After about 8 weeks of waiting, the recruiter said the position was eliminated because they hired new upper management. I wouldn't recommend this company based on this experience.
The interview process went pretty smoothly. HR gave me a call, and I got shortlisted. Then there were 8 rounds of interviews. I received a verbal offer and even negotiated it. However, it seems like the management at Avail is authoritarian, doesn't trust their employees, and micromanages everything. After 8 interviews, a month of waiting, and then another two weeks of anticipation, the offer was rescinded because management didn't think I was a good fit.
