Ava Labs Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview process was long, taking two months from start to finish, but I did get to meet several people from the company. The questions were fair, though I think it could have been faster.

The interview process was thorough but went pretty smoothly and efficiently. It was very professional, and there weren't any unexpected delays or blockers. I had several rounds of interviews with the relevant stakeholders, which helped me get a better understanding of the role and the company.

The interview process had 4 rounds: a recruiter chat, a meeting with a senior engineering manager, a chat with a senior engineer, and then the head of engineering. There wasn't any pair coding or system design. It was mainly about discussing my previous work and how it fits the job. The whole thing felt really smooth; it only took about a week from the first interview to the offer. I appreciated not getting asked random coding problems, but instead having real talks about the product and getting to ask questions that proved I knew how to tackle certain needs.
