The hiring process began with a nice SMS from the recruiter asking if I was free for the next steps. Then, I had a good 30-minute chat with the same recruiter where we talked about my skills, experience, and what I'm looking for in a job. It was a good chance to learn more about the role and show I was really interested and a good fit.
First I talked with the hiring manager about the team and my interests. Then there was a coding round with two developers, followed by a pair programming refactoring exercise. After that, a system design round. The final step was a conversation with the director. The technical parts were quick, leaving plenty of time to explore the team and company culture. Everyone was really supportive.
It started with an HR call to discuss the company, and then they scheduled the interviews. There were 5 rounds in total. The first was a meet & greet where we discussed my background and projects, and also a basic coding question (easy LeetCode). This first interview lasted about 45 minutes. After that, HR let me know I passed and told me about the next stage. The second part was a super round with 4 interviews covering coding, system design, and LP. Finally, there was a closing call with HR. Overall, it was a pretty standard and clear interview process. I enjoyed talking with the engineers.
