I went through a pretty thorough interview process with four rounds and met with six people in total. It took up a lot of my time and energy. First, I cleared the initial HR chat, then I had a good interview with my potential manager. After that, I had two more interviews, each with two interviewers. A week later, they told me they went with someone else. What's annoying is that everyone I talked to said they were impressed and didn't give any hints that I wasn't doing well. It's really disheartening to put so many hours into this, only to get rejected.
The interview is pretty similar to an AWS interview, but it's not as technically deep. It involves technical discussions and some problem-solving. If you know your stuff, it's a decent interview. Keep in mind they're a security company, so the interview focuses mainly on that.
The interview process started with a talk with the hiring manager and then some people from other teams. After that, there was a case study. It was really disappointing to be ghosted at the final stage after putting in all the effort and doing the presentation. Honestly, the company/hiring process seems pretty disorganized. It wasn't a great experience and probably says a lot about the work culture there.
