Candidate-reported interview process

The interview at Automation Anywhere was well organized and gave me a good feel for the company culture and what they're looking for. I spoke with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and the Chief Revenue Officer, and also did a panel interview. It was a good back-and-forth, and I felt it was a positive experience.

Had 3 interviews, first with HR-Recruiter, then 1st Level Leadership, and finally 2nd Level Leadership. After that, we moved to the proposal stage. Received the written proposal via Email and DocuSign about a week later.

The hiring VP reached out directly. It felt like a ".if I want to hire you I will" situation, not a formal process. We talked a few times and it seemed positive, like it could work out, and the VP had reasonable expectations. Things got weird on the third meeting. The VP asked me to do a presentation on a specific account, which is something I've done countless times. I did the presentation and got some feedback. Then, the VP's tone shifted, the power dynamic changed, and it felt like I'd be lucky to get the job. It was an odd turn. I didn't follow up to move forward.
