I interviewed with the company at the end of February. They said I passed the first stage and would hear about the next steps. It's now almost April and I haven't heard anything back, no rejection, no explanation. It feels like a disorganized process and they don't respect candidates. They shouldn't make promises during an interview and then just disappear. Even an automated rejection would be better than silence.
So there were 2 interviews. First was with HR to make sure we're on the same page about expectations. Then, a second one with a Tech lead and a senior manager to assess both hard and soft skills.
There were 2 interviews via Teams first, then an in-person one for a coding test. The process was long for this type of position: a technical case study that wasn't very interesting (very general).
