Candidate-reported interview process

I had an HR phone screen first, then talked to the hiring manager (who was really nice). After that was a technical interview, which focused a lot on infrastructure stuff. It's all taking a bit longer than I expected though.

It was a standard 45min interview where they asked a mix of behavioural and technical questions about common data science and machine learning topics. For instance, they asked to explain K-means clustering and what datasets are best suited for it.

I got past the HR check and the Hiring Manager chat for a senior applied scientist role. In the panel interviews, I nailed the first round, which multiple people confirmed. But then, they yanked my second interview just 10 mins before it was set to happen! They had 2 whole hours between sessions to let me know. I'm totally stunned by how unprofessional and clueless the HR person was. This whole thing is super frustrating and a letdown.
