The process was a bit long but moved fast. Started with a screening, then an interview with HR and the hiring manager. After that, there was a business case, followed by a panel interview with peers and superiors.
It was quite a long process, with 4 stages in total, including the initial screening, but honestly, they all felt pretty sensible. The only thing I might change is the order, as the interview with the Hiring Manager was the first one, and I didn't really want to ask specific questions about job conditions that early on.
So the first interview was with the HR recruiter, it was a phone call. They asked more questions about the role than I was expecting for a first call, so make sure you know why you applied and want the job (luckily I did, but I know people are applying to a lot of roles nowadays). The second interview was with the Manager. Then the third interview was with a Leader from another team that I'd be working closely with. The fourth interview was a presentation to about 5-6 people and then follow-up interviews with 3-4 people after the presentation. This all happened on the same day with some of the calls back-to-back.
