The interview process was really fast and straightforward. There were two rounds in total. The first one was with the Director, and the second one was with a team member. They mostly asked general behavioral questions. I received an offer letter within two weeks. Honestly, it was the simplest hiring process I've ever gone through. I hope more companies operate this efficiently.
It was a one on one, really standard process, no special tests or anything. We walked in, got a tour of the building and office. Then they went over the job duties and the pay.
The job requirements included being able to do the tasks. The interview went okay until the end, when they asked me theoretical questions. Like, what's the max number of fields in a SQL Server table, or the difference between a class and an object. I thought I did pretty well, but they told the recruiter I missed some technical questions. If you really want the job, you should study your theory. That's if you're okay with working with people who can quote programming books but haven't actually accomplished much.
