Candidate-reported interview process

Had a video interview first, then an in-person one. It was a standard interview with questions. The pay seems low for the amount of work they expect. I interviewed with a few people who would be my direct supervisors.

So I had an initial chat, then I had to reschedule my first real interview, but after they pushed me to reschedule they didn't follow through and instead made me do a project. Once I sent in the project, I heard absolutely nothing. I followed up several times and they just said they were going in a different direction.

The process was pretty efficient. I would have preferred a panel interview instead of individual calls, but it wasn't too bad and didn't take too long. Overall, the interviewers were positive and seemed genuinely interested in understanding how I could contribute.
