It was a really smooth and straightforward virtual interview with a friendly panel. They gave me the questions about 15 minutes before we started. There were 3 questions in total, all behavioural, like asking me to talk about a time I did something, and they wanted the answers in STAR format.
First round was general questions and about my skills. I had to make an account on ADF and fill out everything, including medical stuff and uploading docs like my Australian Citizenship Certificate and Drivers License. Round 2 was about why I wanted to join ADF, and they gave me more info about forms they emailed me for a Security Check, Reference Check, and the full employment package. Round 3 was the final chat before signing up for training, but I decided not to go ahead because it's a 4-year contract, and I might have to work outside Canberra, even overseas. Plus, I wasn't comfortable with the mandatory training that included lethal weapons.
The interview included a group activity and then a panel interview where I was asked 4 questions. It was generally an easy interview, but you should still be ready for it.
