AURORA Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

So, I'm interviewing with Aurora, and they liked my application. We're now talking about the tech stuff. They want to know about React for the frontend, how to use MongoDB, and JavaScript Promises for async stuff. Also, they're checking my knowledge on user authentication – basically, how to keep user sessions safe, protect different parts of the app, and set up logins. The questions have been a mix of theory and actually building things, especially for full-stack roles.

They started with an online screening assessment, then there was a 1-hour technical interview, and finally another 2-hour technical interview. The whole process and communication were quite fast, and the staff were friendly.

The interview process was straightforward. I had one phone call with the tech lead where we discussed my technical abilities and what I'm looking for salary-wise. It felt pretty relaxed. I'm not sure if it's still the same now.
