I had a quick Zoom chat, and pretty much right away, they decided I wasn't a good fit for the job.
It was a pretty standard interview process for the industry. It involved a few behavioral/assessment interviews and a case testing skills. The interview was focused on fit and current company challenges/opportunities, which may be hard to navigate but aren't unique in the broader Tech/SaaS space.
Started with an HR screen that was pretty standard. Then met with the hiring manager, who seemed to like hearing himself talk and didn't seem too interested in me. They then gave a project brief that was super detailed and more technical than any I'd done before. The last few interviews were kind of a letdown. One of the colleagues was barely there because of a bad connection and was off-camera. Another leader was good and asked some tough questions. The last senior leader I met didn't even know who I was or where I was in the process. It's clear they're picky and think highly of themselves.
