I had this really awkward virtual interview where I had to record myself answering questions using an app. There was no person there to talk to live. I almost backed out, but I went ahead and did it. The way a company interviews you tells you a lot, and I wasn't a fan of this setup. They did get back to me quickly with an email that analyzed my answers in detail. It still gives me the creeps thinking about someone rewatching my recorded answers and picking them apart before deciding to reject me.
You start by applying with your CV and a cover letter. After that, there's an automated video interview. The next step is a virtual interview that lasts an hour with two of the Regional Sales Managers. It was a really nice chat. They asked stuff about the job and sales.
We had long conversations about my travel and previous work, but it was a comfortable experience. It didn't feel nerve wracking. The whole thing lasted about an hour and a half. The interviewer was really friendly, and I got a tour of the building.
