Candidate-reported interview process

Got a LinkedIn message from a recruiter and set up a call. The recruiter told me about the company and their recent funding. Then we discussed amplifiers and their market standing. I described my current role and duties.

The interview process began with a first round, which was either a phone call or Zoom, basically an initial intro/screening. Then, there was a second round via Zoom with two Managers, involving a behavioral interview and a role play scenario. The third round was also a Zoom with two Executives for a behavioral interview. I didn't make it past the third round, so I'm not sure if there were more rounds.

I went through 5 rounds of interviews. First was a preliminary call for 30 mins. Then a 30+ min call with a member of the team. After that, I had a take-home assignment, followed by a 1-hour take-home presentation. The final round was a 30-minute meeting with the CFO. The team was welcoming and easy to talk to. The whole process took a little over a month, and I received positive feedback from all interviews, but in the end, I got an email saying they were moving forward with another candidate.
