Candidate-reported interview process

I got referred by a friend who was interning at Audi and mentioned they needed someone in procurement. I applied by sending my resume to the department manager and got invited to their office the following week. The interview was pretty straightforward. They first asked me to go through my resume. Then it got quite technical, focusing on my understanding of procurement economics, the automotive industry, and particularly the Asian region. I sensed a personal mismatch during the interview and didn't follow up, so I wasn't surprised I never heard back.

First, there was a phone call, and then the people who got shortlisted were invited for an interview with the manager of the department at their office. They let you know the outcome of the interview within a week.

The interview was good, but unannounced, without prior notice. A person from the department called and directly asked can we have the interview immediately. During the interview there was no introduction of the interview process and further steps.
