Audi Engineer interviews, decoded.

Applied online. After almost 2 months, got invited for a phone call with 3 colleagues from the department. Then, invited to Ingolstadt. Had a very relaxed conversation there with the same 3 people. It wasn't a classic interview but more of a very relaxed getting-to-know-you session.

In the email it said 'two contacts', but only one showed up, the other was on a business trip. As promised, the contact person was supposed to pick me up at the gate of the workshop, but 10 minutes later I saw no one. I went to the building myself and called her, then the conversation started. However, the conversation was relaxed, after that she showed me the workshop and the workplace.

I applied at the end of June. Six weeks later, I got a call asking if my application was still active. We scheduled a phone interview for a few days later. The interview itself was very relaxed. My interviewer was the person in charge of the department. We talked about my background and the tasks involved in the internship. They asked me about my strengths and weaknesses. About a week and a half after that, I got the offer. I thought the interview went really well and felt appreciated. It's also worth mentioning that Audi is still hiring interns despite COVID.
