Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process involved around 12 questions focusing on DEI, team building with peers and students, and concepts like biases, discrimination, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence. They also asked about organizational skills, prioritizing tasks at a busy desk, and understanding the company's mission and values. A specific question about who is responsible for attendance (parents, student, or school) and the reasoning behind it was also posed.

I attended the Auburn SD Job Fair and met a principal who had an opening. We talked, and they asked if I could interview for the position right then. I agreed, and they asked me around 7 questions. After more discussion, I was offered the job. It was fortunate, but job fairs can be really useful!

I had to change my interview time last minute, but they were able to accommodate it. They didn't really answer my questions about job duties and expectations. I felt like they already picked someone since they seemed uninterested, so it was a waste of my time.
