It was a very relaxed interview process. You should be ready to talk about the value you bring. The office is small, with about 15-20 people, and there are no private offices. Everyone, including the C-suite, works in the same open space. The COO was dressed very casually in shorts and flip-flops.
So, I went in for what was supposed to be my second interview. It seemed to go okay overall, even though I admitted I didn't have every single skill they were looking for, but I didn't think that would be a dealbreaker. We talked about pay, and I got the impression they weren't going to meet my salary expectations. Then I saw they reposted the job with a different title on LinkedIn. I felt pretty disrespected that they didn't even bother to talk to me about it or try to negotiate. I definitely won't be applying to any other roles with this franchise again. Total waste of my time!
We had a chat with the hiring associate about the job. Then I interviewed with the brand manager. The associate seemed really new to the role and probably took it on because someone else left. The brand manager didn't seem to know the job requirements much either, and I got the impression he was taking on too much. Getting information was tough because they mostly just have one recruiter handling things.
