The application process was pretty simple. They really care about your character and your technical skills for the specific department you're applying to. There weren't many rounds, and they were pretty open with their feedback.
The interview process was quite extensive. It started with a phone screen with the Executive Assistant. Next, I had an interview with the Director of Product Development, the Executive Assistant, and the Director of VE Development. This was followed by a practical design test using Unity. Finally, I had a concluding interview with all the Directors (Product Development, VE Development, HR), the Executive Assistant, and a Principal Software Engineer. The whole thing wrapped up in just over two weeks.
I had a phone screen in December, but they said to re-apply in a month due to a deadline. I reapplied in March and had to go through the whole process again. After another phone screen, I had an in-person interview. I had to sign an NDA. The in-person interview was a group conversation with two other devs, the COO, an ops guy, and the project manager, conducted over Skype. They asked few, easy technical questions and a lot of cultural fit questions. They demoed the app and asked how to gamify a sales app. After the interview, I had a 3-hour take-home project.
