They asked about my past work, what I know, and if I could do algorithms. Then I had to code on a whiteboard and talk about past projects. We also discussed how I solve issues, how I talk to people on my team, and database data structures.
I interviewed with a really impressive VP of Engineering at a company that's shaking up the storage industry. It was a really technical deep dive. I had to chat with a bunch of the senior engineers and go over my background with developing storage stack components.
They asked questions ranging from programming question to linux kernel. Programming questions comprised of finding loop in a linked list along with the originating loop node, intersecting linked list question. Questions on semaphores, mutexes, adjanceny list, matrix.
