Candidate-reported interview process

I applied back in June and didn't hear anything until November when they emailed me about an interview. My application status still says pending. I haven't gotten any updates or a denial letter, so I'm guessing the background check is still in progress.

It was a pretty laid-back interview, lasting around 25 minutes. I think it went well because I was friendly and not too formal. The person interviewing me wanted to know about my past experiences and what I'm good at.

I got a call and then went in for the interview. It felt efficient, fair, and they knew what they wanted. They talked about my experience and asked if I could be a subordinate and not a boss, which I said yes to. They also inquired about my education, accomplishments, background, and my best project.
