I did a phone interview and then an in-person interview. They asked if I was ready to start and showed excitement. Then they ghosted me. I tried to follow up but got no response, not even a rejection.
I got a LinkedIn message and a call the same day, but it was 20 mins after the time I said I was available. They asked some resume questions and said they were super impressed. They scheduled an interview, but then didn't respond to my email about when I was free. I took a Tuesday off work to go interview, and they said it went really well and I'd get an offer. But they didn't ask me many questions, mostly just talked to me, and there was no coding test. After they ghosted my emails for a few days, I messaged them on LinkedIn. They got back to me the next Sunday saying they wanted someone with more experience. I'm pretty bummed and feel misled.
I walked into a professional environment. They explained the scope of work well and introduced the job. They also require a personality test for employment. I enjoyed that part because psychology in the workplace has been shown to improve the working environment.
